For Design Miami Paris 2026, Salon 94 and Salon 94 Design bring together Alberto and Diego Giacometti, Peter Schlesinger, Rick Owens, Urs Fischer, and F Taylor Colantonio in a presentation exploring the animal world and the expressive possibilities of art and design.

At its heart is a family history. Founder Jeanne and director Jackie Greenberg’s father, Ronald Greenberg, was a close friend of Diego’s, spending time in Paris at the rue Hippolyte-Maindron studio the brothers shared for decades. He organized the only exhibitions of Diego’s furniture and objects in New York and St. Louis during his lifetime. The presentation pairs three of Alberto’s lamps made with Jean-Michel Frank with Diego’s bronze coffee tables, rare mouse stool, and iconic L’Autruche.

Around them, a menagerie unfolds. Shown with us for the first time, Peter Schlesinger’s glazed ceramics draw on the swans and geese near his Long Island home. Rick Owens presents Petite Double Bubble and Stag Stools in the new gold-rubbed tiger plywood, and Stag T Stools in bronze, cast at a foundry once used by the Giacometti's. Urs Fischer’s La Chercheuse merges bird and egg in a blown-glass and bronze lamp, while F Taylor Colantonio’s new chandelier brings together glass and cartapesta in a richly textured composition.
