GLADE is Rick Owens’ modular architectural system that transforms between sofa, bed, workspace, and creative studio. Each selfcontained unit integrates lighting, internet, and power solutions within its Batipan plywood structure, wrapped in French military wool blankets. The system consists of two elements - the standard unit and corner piece - which can function independently or connect to form larger configurations.

The TECH GLADE evolution demonstrates the system’s adaptability, incorporating a recording studio, large-screen displays, and enhanced digital connectivity while maintaining the original’s architectural integrity. Dreamed up for Travis Scott to have a place to make music and hang outbackstage while on tour, the TECH GLADE is designed to be assembled and disassembled at each venue, proving the system’s versatility across different spatial contexts. Both GLADE iterations are produced in Paris under Michèle Lamy’s direction, offered in multiple materials including Owens’ signature concrete, with each installation customizable to specific requirements.
